Avon Ridge Vineyard
Leigh and Lisa. Avon Ridge Vineyard
Captured by Steph Wallis and shared in her words.
Lisa and Leigh are such a relaxed and easy-going couple, and they had such a great attitude about the day! On the morning of the wedding a storm blew in and it started raining, so their ceremony had to be moved from the lawn to the verandah at Avon Ridge Winery, but you still couldn’t wipe the smile off of Lisa and Leigh’s faces. Like magic, after the ceremony ended, the rain eased, and the sun peaked out.
The day was so relaxed and intimate and although they wanted to spend as much time as possible with their friends and family (there were guests from all over Australia), Lisa and Leigh made sure that they allowed time by themselves to go for a walk in the nearby fields and take it all in. Avon Ridge had even prepared a picnic basket for them to enjoy by themselves!
After dinner there was such a good vibe on the dance floor - everyone got up and had a dance to the live band!
Any unique or special details: There were lots of personal touches on the day, including Lisa’s dress and veil which were lovingly made by her mother. Lisa also hand painted the seating chart for the reception, and a good friend of Lisa's played on guitar as Lisa walked up the aisle.
