Who are you?
We are Ivory Tribe, a Victorian wedding blog and directory and more recently, mamas to the beautiful Bride Business, a cheeky and gorgeous wedding planning book ready to help couples plan their perfect day.
When did you launch?
Bride Business was launched in December, 2016 - but feels like she's been around forever, such is her wealth of wedding knowledge!
How did you get into your line of work?
After having worked in the industry for a number of years, Bride Business was a natural progression for culminating years of vendor, bride and groom feedback into one handy, helpful product.
What do you offer to the Wedding/events industry?
Bride Business offers relevant checklists, timelines, inspiration, a place to store your wedding notes and thoughts, record vendor supplier details, work on your ceremony vows, and so much more!
Can you share your main do's and don't's for weddings and events?
DO: Buy a wedding planner (our favourite is Bride Business, naturally)
DON'T: Lose sight of the meaning of the day. Perfection is overrated and the end goal remains the same - you're marrying your favourite person and that's all that really counts.
Do you have a morning ritual?
Our gal Bride Business is one blissed out babe. She starts the day with yoga and a herbal tea, but us mere mortals need something far stronger.
Any funny stories while working within the events industry?
Bride Business has seen it all, but she would never tell ;)
What are some of the ways you ensure exceptional service to your couples?
Bride Business really holds a brides hand from start to finish when it comes to planning the perfect day. From the moment the question is popped, til the 'I do's', Bride Business is there every step of the way and she's totally got it covered.
Is there any other Bride's Day Out vendors you admire and why?
We adore the talented team at One Heart Studios for their passion and creativity behind the camera. The lovely ladies over at Amante Bridal are also a great addition to the local wedding landscape with their beautiful bridal boutique. They also happen to be stockists of Bride Business - head in there to snap up a copy!).
