Who are you?
Bluebird Vintage Hire is a event hire company based in Gippsland, VIC. We offer one of a kind vintage items for hire to make your special day unique.
Jessi is the creative mind behind the unique furniture and props, running the administration, social media and working one-on-one with our couples to create individual packages to suit their special day.
Ben is our muscle / carpenter / delivery man / driver; from being the our go to delivery guy to building all our hardwood timber trestle tables and any other crazy (awesome) request Jessi has -there is nothing this guy can't do!
When did you launch?
Bluebird Vintage Hire launched in November 2016, after many months of collecting unique furniture and props we bit the bullet and decided to service what appeared to be a gap in Gippsland's wedding / events industry. The reaction and demand for vintage wedding hire has been remarkable.
How did you get into your line of work?
Bluebird Vintage Hire started out as a furniture collection for our own wedding day and developed into a boutique hire company with a unique range of antique / vintage lounges, chairs, props and more.
What do you offer to the Wedding/events industry?
Bluebird Vintage Hire has the capacity to service marquee / town hall / backyard and DIY weddings with 10 x 2.8m hardwood timber trestle tables seating 8-12 people and 120 mismatched timber chairs.
We also offer a large range of antique / vintage lounges perfect for adding that extra special touch to your cocktail hour or a cocktail reception.
Bluebird Vintage Hire is based in Gippsland, VIC and can offer delivery to all locations.
We have your ceremony and reception needs covered with a range of packages to suit your needs, or we can prepare an individual package with our one of a kind vintage items for hire to make your special day unique!
Can you share your main do's and don't's for weddings and events?
Don't sweat the small stuff! If something doesn't go exactly to plan or look exactly how you expected on the big day, its more than likely the only one who will notice is you!
Make sure you take time out to take it all in with your partner, its all about your love for each other so just enjoy the moment!
What are some of the ways you ensure exceptional service to your couples?
We prefer to work one-on-one with our couples to create individual packages to suit their special day.
This allows us to assist in bringing their vision to life and at the same time providing a few extra items they hadn't thought would fit in their budget.
Is there any other Bride's Day Out vendors you admire and why?
We've said it again and again, we are loving Kiah's amazing grazing tables from Hunter & Gatherer Events. Who doesn't love a good grazing station with locally sourced cheese?!
